Are you a man of good character? Little known fact is that every Shriner is first and always a Master Mason. Shriners adhere to the principle of Freemasonry which are Brother love, Relief, and Truth.
Freemasonry is the oldest and most well-known fraternal organizations in the world. Once a man petitions a masonic lodge, he will be accepted as an entered apprentice. Each member will work his way up through the three degrees in Freemasonry. To earn each degree, a Freemason must learn certain lessons which are taught through the use of ceremonies, symbols, allegory, and one-on-one lessons. After completing the third degree (Master Mason) a member can petition to become a Noble of the Mystic Shrine.
